Jeannine Alexander - Operations Manager, BEK Construction Management Group
Jeannine Alexander moved to Washington from New Mexico in 1997, and has made Bellevue her home for the past several years. She has been in the workforce for over 23 years, and has held positions ranging from proofreader at her local newspaper as a high school student to assistant editor of a regional journal. Since graduating from New Mexico State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Jeannine's primary focus has been in marketing. She has worked as a promotions coordinator for a radio station, as an administrative assistant for the healthcare studio of a large architectural design firm and has been a marketing manager for large construction management/engineering firms. Jeannine is currently the operations/contracts manager for BEK Construction Management Group, Inc., a local construction management firm, as well as being the owner of her own small business, Alexander Management and Marketing.

Jeannine has been active in the United Way campaigns of her former employer and the CANstruction campaigns for Food Lifeline as a former member of Society for Design Administration. She is very concerned about the children in our community who have survived sexual assault and traumatic events, and wants to affect change to assist them in their recovery and work to prevent other innocents from being abused. She is passionate in this cause and has a strong desire to assist Children's Response Center in reaching their goals.

Kathy Captain - Vice President & Relationship Manager, Evergreen Bank
Kathy Captain moved to Bellevue as a teenager and attended the University of Washington graduating with a degree in Economics. She has lived on the Eastside for 22 years and worked in the banking industry as a lender to small and medium sized business owners. Kathy has been married for 28 years and has been blessed with a daughter and son ages 20 and 15. Kathy is passionate about developing deep relationships with her friends and customers in order to live a more connected life in this world that often finds us disconnected and isolated.

Sabrina Chen - Student, Seattle University
Sabrina Chen, born and raised in Bellevue, is currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Seattle University pursuing a Bachelors of Social Work with a minor in women studies. During her time as an undergraduate at Seattle University, Sabrina has worked closely with the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) in designing programs that address issues of Racism as well as other intersecting oppressions. Sabrina also has been one of the primary organizers for Seattle U's annual Break the Silence conference: Shattering the Culture of Violence, and the president of the Chinese Student Association. Sabrina also volunteers for the Asian Pacific Islander Women and Family Safety Center. She is personally very passionate about women's issues, particularly issues of sexual violence, and hopes to give a lifetime commitment in pursuing this passion.

Aside from her life as a college student, Sabrina works part time in children's retail. She enjoys watching films, spending time in the outdoors with her Jack Russell-Poodle Mix "Jackie", and attending live music shows. She is very excited to be a part of the Children's Response Center advisory board, and very passionate about advocating for children who have survived

Judy Feinerman
Judy Feinerman is a Portland, Oregon native and received her B.S. in Journalism and Advertising from the University of Oregon. Her graduate degree in Education is from UCLA. Judy has lived in the Bellevue/Issaquah area since 1981. Her work has included positions as an Advertising Copywriter in Los Angeles, for retail establishments, advertising agencies and the Wall St. Journal. She was a substitute teacher for the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills school Districts, and also was a head preschool teacher at the Mercer Island Jewish Community Center. Judy has been a substitute teacher for the Issaquah School district since 1997, and is also the Marketing & Sales Representative for Substitute Online, Inc., a software system dealing with school district daily staffing operations. Judy has one son, who graduated from Stanford University and is now living and working in Los Angeles.

Judy's keen interest in children, their welfare and their educational growth has led her to this position on the CRC Advisory Board, and she is honored to be part of such a vibrant organization.

Deborah Feldman - Reporter, King 5 Television
Deborah Feldman works as a reporter and fill-in anchor at NBC affiliate KING 5 News. She joined the Seattle station as a general assignment reporter in 1999. Before joining KING-TV, Deborah was a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for KREM-TV (CBS) in Spokane, WA, from 1996 to April 1999. Before moving to Washington state, Deborah worked as a health and general assignment reporter at WLBZ-TV (NBC) in Bangor, ME.

Deborah's work has garnered her half a dozen Emmy Nominations and numerous awards from the Regional Radio-Television News Directors Association, the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists. Her stories cover a range of topics from breaking news, to features, to in-depth reporting.

Deborah's first interaction with the Children's Response Center was when she interviewed one of the social workers on the staff for a news report. She feels honored to be joining the Advisory Board in 2009, and says she's eager to offer any assistance that helps ensure critical services are available and accessible when children and their families are in crisis.

Deborah holds a Bachelor's degree in History and English from Tufts University and a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University School of Journalism. She is married and has two young children.

Diane Hirt - Health & Productivity Strategy Analyst, Nordstrom, Inc.
Diane Hirt, a Senior Benefits Analyst for Nordstrom, is a working mother and a 29-year resident of East King County. She helps find ways to improve the health and productivity of employees and guides her team to determine how they can focus and refine their business strategy and processes. Diane's business background includes experience in human resources and benefits administration for the insurance, public television and retail industries. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, local senior centers and actively works with the American Cancer Society to promote disease prevention. Having adopted her son through the Washington State foster care system, Diane knows personally how important it is to provide comprehensive services and support for the children and families within our communities.

Amy Lang - Sexual Health Educator, Owner, Birds + Bees + Kids
Amy Lang, MA has a 16-year history as a Sexual Health Educator. She has provided sexual health education to adults and teenagers on pretty much every aspect of sexual health - from abortion to herpes zosters and everything in between. In addition, she has a Masters degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University/Leadership Institute of Seattle. Amy's area of expertise is adult education, coaching and training.

Amy is passionate about sexual health education and became aware that young people are not getting the information when they need it (i.e. very early in childhood) nor from the people they most need to hear it from, their parents. A parent herself, she started Birds + Bees + Kids to help other parents and caregivers start and continue conversations about sexuality, love and relationships with their children.

Ahinsa Mansukhani - Product Planner, Microsoft Co.
Ahinsa Mansukhani is a Product Planner in Microsoft's Business Division. She recently relocated to the Seattle area from Toronto, Ontario after earning a Bachelor of Mathematics in Honors Math & Business with a specialization in Finance from the University of Waterloo. Along with her mathematics expertise, Ahinsa also brings extensive experience managing high-end, large scale, fundraising and corporate events - including an annual event with over 75,000 attendees. The Children's Response Center's focus on at-risk children is an area that she is passionate about and she is eager to be involved and, through the CRC, help to positively impact children on the Eastside.

Adrienne Nordland - Audit Manager, Sweeney Conrad
Adrienne graduated from the University of Washington in June 1998 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. She obtained her CPA certification in 2001 and has worked in the Audit Department at Sweeney Conrad, P.S. in Bellevue since 2000. Adrienne has been a Manager since 2004 and provides audit, accounting and financial advisory services to privately held businesses and their owners. She serves clients in a multitude of industries including real estate, lodging, commercial printing, newspaper publishing, recycling/composting, agricultural, not-for-profit organizations, professional services, and employee benefit plans.

Adrienne has been involved with various non-profit organizations over the years both as a volunteer and serving as a Treasurer on a Board of Directors. She is married, has two young children, and lives and works on the eastside. She is passionate about organizations that help children and feels it is a privilege to be involved with Children's Response Center and be able to do her part in supporting such a worthy cause.

Hiedi Popochock - Billing Administrator, City of Bellevue
Hiedi was born on Friday the 13th in West Memphis, Arkansas. She comes from a stable family where her parents have been happily married for 32 years. Heidi was recently married to Andrew, who is a police officer in Bellevue. In 1992, her parents moved their seven young children to Tacoma, Washington in order to take advantage of the many educational opportunities that the Pacific Northwest had to offer. They have called the Pacific Northwest home for approximately seventeen years now.

Hiedi attended Stadium High School, and after graduating moved to Seattle to pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Washington. In her senior year at the "U", Heidi travelled abroad to Cape Town, South Africa for three and a half months. It was an amazing experience and gave her a whole new perspective on how she viewed the world. It also instilled a life long passion for traveling internationally. Hiedi graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in Sociology and Law, Societies and Justice and a double minor in African Studies and Human Rights. She was the first child in her family to obtain a college degree. In 2007, she completed her master's degree in Public Administration at Seattle University.

Heidi currently works at the City of Bellevue in the Development Services Department as the Billing Administrator. She enjoys working out with my husband, playing basketball, spending time with my nieces and nephews and reading.

Rachel Quesinberry - Marketing Coordinator, PCL Construction Services, Inc.
Rachel has been a volunteer for the Children's Response Center for 14 years. The work and mission of the CRC is very dear to her heart because her daughter could have used their services when she was 12. As an adult, Rachel's daughter became a CRC volunteer first and because of her, Rachel became a volunteer and later joined the Board. As a previous Board Member, Rachel co-chaired one of CRC's Annual Luncheons and was involved in many CRC fundraising events.

Five years ago, she temporarily left Seattle because her current employer, PCL Construction Services, re-located her to Honolulu. When Rachel returned to the Seattle area, she was assigned to a project in Tukwila. Now she is back in Bellevue and is excited to resume her involvement with CRC. Rachel's entire working career has been in the Administrative field working for PCL and the IBM Corporation. CRC has been a recipient of several charitable events that PCL sponsored. CRC clients have also benefited from PCL's Holiday Season Adopt-a-Family program.

Rebecca Reed - Attorney, Owner, Reed Law Firm PLLC
In 2006, Rebecca Reed established her law office, Reed Law Firm, PLLC, in Bellevue, Washington. She practices litigation, real estate law, business law, construction law and estate planning and probate. Ms. Reed is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, United States District Court, Western District of Washington and American Bar Association. In 2006, she was awarded and recognized by Metropolitan Who's Who for leadership in the legal profession. Ms. Reed's practice focuses on the needs of the Eastside community and greater Seattle area. Her goal is to unite quality legal work with an unfailing commitment to ethics to establish a good relationship with her clients and community.

Cyndi Sandoval - Retail Sales Representative, The Hershey Company
Cyndi Sandoval has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing/International Business from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. She is a Retail Sales Representative for The Hershey Company and recently relocated to Bellevue from New Mexico. The focus of building her career has been in sales and marketing with experience in coordinating national trade shows, company annual events, and creating strategic business plans for effective territory management. Aside from work, she is spending time with family, cooking, and exercising. As a new resident on the eastside, Cyndi was motivated to research goals and objectives of many organizations that aligned with her passion to educate and create awareness of children at-risk. She is enthusiastic to have found the Children's Response Center making a difference in so many children's lives.

Jason Shindler - CEO, Curvine Web Solutions
Jason Shindler is the owner of Curvine Web Solutions. He has 9 years of experience developingWeb applications and Web sites for businesses of all sizes. During his career, he has worked in many organizational settings including work for Universities, municipalities and large private businesses. He is proficient in many different Web application platforms, including Microsoft's ASP and ASP.NET platforms, PHP, Java and Perl.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Florida. He completed a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications in 2001, with an outside concentration in Computer Science. When not developing Web sites, Jason teaches at synagogue Religious schools and is a member of the Children's Response Center Advisory Board. He has been a member of the CRC Board since 2005, and joined to help support the community his business operates in.

Nancy Weinstein
Nancy Weinstein received her Masters in Education in Counseling Psychology from Boston College. For the past thirty-eight years, she has served in the field of education. Nancy began her career as an elementary classroom and special education teacher, and later worked as a counselor and school psychologist in elementary, middle school, and high school. After sixteen years as an administrator, she retired from her last position as principal of Discovery Elementary in the Issaquah School District in 2008.

Throughout her professional career, as well as in her personal life, Nancy has encountered many young children and teenagers who have been victims of sexual abuse and has witnessed the chaos and hurt that abuse leaves in its wake. Therefore, when presented the opportunity to serve on the CRC Nancy decided it was a worthy investment of her time to support the Children's Response Center. She also assists with projects of Trilogy for Kids and enjoys her leisure time playing golf, bridge, glass fusing, and especially enjoys traveling.

Gayle Zawaideh
Gayle Zawaideh has raised three wonderful children and has worked in the Real Estate business for over 25 years. She is currently the co-owner of John L. Scott, Whidbey Island North in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. Gayle joined the CRC Advisory Board in 1998. In the past decade Gayle's work on the Board has included serving as the Board Chair, Fundraising Committee Chair, member of the Speakers Bureau, Chair of fundraising luncheons and active participant in all CRC fundraisers. She has served as a Legislative Advocate and committee member of the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault programs. Gayle frequently travels to Olympia as a legislative advocate representing CRC on legislative issues regarding children and sexual assault, which speaks to her strong interest in government affairs. Gayle says, "I believe that we are gifted with the opportunity to make a difference in others' lives, especially children, who are the most trusting and vulnerable."
